Our Foundations

Chi Mu is a women’s social club at Ouachita Baptist University that is currently home to 42 wonderful young women who work together under their three pillars of sisterhood: Flexibility, Service, and Support.  New members are inducted into Chi Mu every January during Induction week. To qualify to be in the club, the woman must be attending Ouachita Baptist University full-time and go through OBU Rush week. We are looking for a diverse, supportive and willing-to-serve group of women to join us in our sisterhood as we pursue Christ and life-long relationships together.

History

In 2015, our founders Kacy Earnest Spears, Mattie Alexander, Nadalie Gill, and Amy Lytle felt that Ouachita Baptist University needed a new social club to serve as a sisterhood that offers flexibility, support, and a place to serve. Since then, Chi Mu has grown into a loving home for one hundred and sixty-four women in the nearly ten years since our founding.
